Social Media
At the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities (MCBDD), I was responsible for managing the social media efforts. This included scheduling posts, engaging with online audiences, tracking data, and running social media campaigns. In my three years in this position, I more than doubled our followers (organically!) and maintained an average post engagement rate of 7.5%.
I also served as social media chair for the MCBDD’s 2019 levy campaign, handling organic social media as well as paid social media ads. The levy renewal did pass with overwhelming support of more than 70%.

Print Materials
At MCBDD, I was also responsible for creating, editing, and distributing internal and external publications. This included a variety of flyers, posters, and brochures that were used for education, promotion, and direct mailing.

Email Marketing
At MCBDD, I created and distributed a variety of internal and external e-newsletter publications. I managed a list of over 3,500 contacts through Constant Contact, segmented into over 25 unique lists which allowed for specific targeting.

Event Planning
Event planning was also part of my position at MCBDD. These events included internal and external training sessions, donation drives, school events, community vendor shows, and most notably, the MCBDD’s Ice Cream Social which draws over 3,500 people annually. I oversaw committees for these events, coordinated vendors, handled event promotion, and also shot photography/video during the events.
